Boosting Business Productivity is a $6.1 million Victorian Government grants initiative to equip small and medium size enterprises with energy-efficiency skills and connect them to expert advice to help them cut energy and materials costs, reduce greenhouse emissions and unlock even more co-benefits.

Gas efficiency grants of up to $50,000 will be available for businesses to invest in gas-related projects including capital equipment upgrades, non-routine maintenance and repairs, fuel switching, and improved metering.

Energy assessment grants of up to $9,000 are available for SMEs spending over $20,000 a year on energy, to commission an energy assessment which will identify and implement energy improvements.

Materials efficiency grants of up to $13,000 are available to SME manufacturers looking to find solutions to their waste problems, which will result in more efficient use of materials and less waste sent to landfill.

Energy efficiency knowledge and skills. A number of industry associations, business networks and registered training organisations have received Energy Efficiency Capability grants to develop energy efficiency knowledge and skills in small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and service providers.

Sustainable finance service is available free to all businesses, property owners, councils and community groups seeking to invest in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
