The Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) has announced the winners of its 2018 Energy Management Leadership Awards.

The winning organisations are recognised for their achievements in energy management in line with ISO 50001.

Eligible organisations summarised their processes and benefits, and each submitted a case study for analysis. The winners were selected by an independent panel of international experts.

This year’s top winners are:

An Garda Síochán, the police force of the Republic of Ireland. Energy savings over eight years of US$11.3m and emissions abated by 70,340 tonnes.

Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, Russia.  Energy savings over three years of US$38.6m with emissions abated by 698,186 tonnes.  

PT PJB Gresik Power Plant, Indonesia. Energy savings over three years of US$9.69m and emissions abated by 2.72m tonnes.
